Cloud Hosting Services

What is the cloud? The answer to this is often confusing to most people. The common explanation is that it’s a network of servers that can be accessed remotely from any location using the internet.

Imagine that the cloud is like your bank account

The cloud allows you to securely access your data from anywhere in the world at anytime, from any location.

With access to cloud no longer being limited to your PC/laptop, you can now access the cloud from your phone, tablet and even your watch!

For small to medium businesses, the cloud could be perfect for your IT requirements

However, we don’t believe that there’s a one-size-fits-all solution. Your needs may differ depending on what you need the cloud to do for you.

There are a few different ways of implementing the cloud, and we work with you to determine what will be the best fit for your business.

Your cloud options

There are a number of cloud hosting options that are available to you and your business.

Find out which one might be suitable for you, and if you can’t find what you’re looking for, get in touch and we can discuss your needs.

Public Cloud

This is the version of the cloud mentioned above. You share the same virtual servers with anyone using that service, and this service can be used by anyone who signs up to it.

While this may seem like a potential security risk, all public cloud servers utilise security measures that are more than adequate for most businesses.

Private Cloud

A private cloud is a bank of servers that are accessible only by you. These servers are ring fenced for your use only and usually located on-site.

A private cloud is managed by a hosting service, ourselves or your on-site IT manager. This is the option to go for if absolute security is your priority.

Hybrid Cloud

Essentially a mixture of public and private cloud hosting. If you have data that absolutely needs to be secure, you can have a private cloud available for internal users, while also allowing users access to data through a public cloud.
